One time after getting my prostate checked I says to the Doc, I usually need to be taken out for dinner and a movie before I let someone do that. He never said a word, just sat there stoned faced. Maybe he heard that joke too many times.

1skrewsloose At least you could see his face and see the joke went flat. I made the mistake of making a ribald joke to my dental hygienist and she was wearing a mask of course. Sweet lady. We were discussing my upcoming oral surgery to replace the bone in my jaw in preparation for the implants that would replace my 2 back molars. The stuff they use to do that, they kept calling it "cadaver bone". I said it wasn't a very good sales pitch... and they should rename it "miracle bone". And then I couldn't resist: "On a side note, that was also my nickname in college". She just looked at me, dead air, no sound... and to this day I have no idea if she smiled or was offended.
