    Bad idea

I'm thinkin' it's a bad idea to ban mind/mood altering substances from gas stations or other stop-and-rob locations. People that would take drugs bought at a stop-and-rob are the exact same people that should be removed from the breeding population! If they are going to do it themselves, so much the better.

Connecticut has banned tianeptine, known as "gas station heroin," classifying it as Schedule I as 14 states crack down on the addictive substance.

Trouble is . . . they leave the stop and rob . . . chowing down on the stuff . . . and immediately become an impaired moron hurtling down he street with a 2000 pound (or more) projectile strapped to him/her/it.

Although it is only 90 feet per second or so . . . the curb weight of a quad pickup is just shy of 5000 pounds . . . resulting in a 630,000 ft lbs of energy being expended in the 60 mph crash.

        May God bless,
        Dwight

From the article-"MISUSE of tianeptine can cause severe adverse health effects, including respiratory depression, severe sedation and death". Nearly every drug on the market claims to be safe when used as directed. Pretty much too much of anything might be bad. Of course they call it a Schedule 1 substance, so if you get caught its a felony, ie: no guns for you. Maybe I read too much into this stuff, but, I always think if they can't ban guns they make more things illegal. Soon it will be a felony to spit on the sidewalk.

I don't know, maybe I sniffed to many pencil erasers when I was young, but I say let nature do it's thing and thin heard. Why should we save the monumentally stupid.
