Ok. Trump issued the ultimatum. 48 hours or we kill your power plants. Iran counters with “then we will target oil infrastructure and water desalination plants”. So what happens now? Both options are catastrophic. I could see possible escalation to the point of tactical nukes flying. Of course the Dems and MSM are pushing all kinds of crazy narratives, much of it false. So where do we go from here?

Trump is citing "Productive talks" to end the war. After all of the bad faith negotiations with the IRGC why is it now promising? Of course the Iranians are saying we backed down because of their threats. If we walk away leaving those religious lunatics in charge with a promise to play nice then this was all for nothing. Not only will the Iranian people not trust us ever again after abandoning them to the radical Mullah's again, but 5 years from now we will be dealing with this same crap all over again.
Now, I understand there are plans for the Shaw's son and freedom fighters in Iran so lets hope that's part of the plan. With the help of special forces and Israel's Mossad, along with IRGC being severely degraded, that's something that may be doable from that stand point.
All I know is this had better be the deal of the century Trump is talking or he comes off looking like a naive buffoon and we as a country comes off looking weak and indecisive. This moment is our best opportunity in 50 years to finally take the pebble out of our shoe and maybe bring some semblance of sanity to the middle east. Get it done, one way or the other.

I scraped up as much as I could to fill the fuel oil tank today. Shit went from $3.29/gal to $5.20/gal today. I usually wait until late spring/early summer to refill the tank. I'm OK at the other place as only turn on furnace to take showers.
I should have filled up more gas cans too. I both tanks on the truck and some cans at $2.92/gal, might be up to $4.00 today?
Concerning the goat fuckers it's the leaders who are the nut cases we need to kill/oust. Most of the people want them out. If we could get a stable leadership/constitution that would be ideal.
I worked with a few Iranians back in my college days. They were not radical nut cases and we all got along. One of them loved to smoke weed. He was happy when I found some indica for him.

Blowing up their electrical and petroleum infrastructure would be a terrible idea. We would get stuck rebuilding it for the next 20 years. However, I understand what he is doing. It's all about Tiawan and China. We cut off China's control of the Panama Canal. Then, we took out Maduro in Venezuela, a major ally and supplier of oil to China. Now, we are taking out Iran, am major oil supplier to China. We are taking out their supply lines and also moving minor enemies off the board at the same time. That way, when China attacks Tiawan, not only can we focus our efforts on defending Tiawan, without annoying scirmishes all over the world at the same time, and China's infrastructure and supplies have already been weakened.Comment

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain all hit by Iranian missile/drone attacks. Many of the Gulf States wish for Trump to continue until the regime is toppled. How's about chipping in too you bastards? They could be rolling tanks and troops in from all sides in coordination with American sea and air power. I am not opposed to killing muslims whenever a good opportunity presents itself. It would be much better if we were not expending expensive munitions on them. But if the choice is between blowing up muslims (even with expensive bombs) and giving the bombs/money to Ukraine, I will take the option of blowing up muslims every time.
That said, I couldn't care less about regime change in Iran (or anywhere else for that matter). That is an issue for the Iranian people to decide. If that means every couple years we are going to have to drop more bombs and kill more muslims... Everybody should have a national pass time and blowing up muslims is far more fun than watching soccer.
