This One Hit Me Pretty Hard.

I know this won't get much traction here, but this really hurt me. The voice of my childhood. My imaginary hero. And yes, for an imaginary character, someone who taught me a lot about how to be. RIP Peter Cullen.

    (((Sparky))) Sorry for your pain.
There's nothing imaginary about something so real.

For those that don't know, I am a bit of a Transformers nerd, with a very expensive collection of vintage toys, and a huge soft spot for the franchise.

I know nothing about Transformers but I get it. It's hard losing something that gave you great joy.

I never got into transformers . . . but when the Duke passed . . . my whole world took a pause . . . as well as Steve McQueen . . . couple of guys I really looked up to.

And of course . . . all of us teen guys back in the late 50's and early 60's . . . we all had a crush o Miss Kitty.

              May God bless,
              Dwight

I remember exactly where I was when I saw the headline that Wayne had died. I had just gotten off the train and was walking to work when I passed a House who had the Chicago tribune on the front lawn with the headline "Wayne Dies". Stopped me dead in my tracks. That was a blow.

              Sorry for your loss.

But I always thought "transformers" were cross-dressers?

Transformers was a little after my time as a kid. I did enjoy the first/Second movie. And he was the voice in those. Perfectly voice cast. RIP Optimus.
