Give everyone a tip. Purchase the Sawyer Extractor at Walmart or online. I think Meijer might carry it. That's here in Michigan anyways. The Sawyer Extractor is a suction device and works on insect stings and snake bites. You will want tweezers to remove any stingers left on the skin. Use the Extractor and then take an antihistamine pill or two.

I keep an extractor in my Trucks Combat Lifesaver bag, my wife's household first aid kit, my combat lifesaver bag in the bugout supplies and the same for my medical backpack. We use the Extractor for everything, spider bites, bee stings, mosquito bites. Kids learned early when they were young and they got ate up with mosquitos. The Extractor is around $15.00 at Walmart. Well worth the purchase.
