Good morning!

Went to bed at 1am (pretty typical). Couldn't sleep. Laid in bed for about 2 hours and then said screw it and got up. It's now 5:06am. This sucks.

Maybe I'll just watch that giant yellow ball in the sky come up.

Good morning nerds! Woke up in a chipper mood today. Despite my condition I'm pretty happy. I know God is with me and loves me. And loves you too.

Hope y'all are having a good day, today talked with a guy who lives half a block from me. In the past we just waved and said Hi. I thought how weird is it I live in a town of 3k and have never done more than just wave and say Hi to someone that lives that close by? We talked for a good 45 minutes when I was out for my morning walk. Wow, felt a little strange at first, but then felt really good to talk with the neighbors. As luck would have it we think the same! Since retiring I got in the habit of being somewhat of a hermit. Peace be with you!!

Had to add, I don't smoke in the house, go out in the morning to have one, I peek thru the curtain to make sure no one is walking by that I might have to talk to before I step out. And when cars come down the street I go back behind the door so they can't see me. Wow, I'm kinda a weird mf'er.

PO is still snoring; I got up early to make coffee with the new little Anker, worked great, just charging it back up now. Saturdays are my wet chore days: laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, shower... basically doing the chores I ignore all week.

Well that didn't take long LOL!

All my devices have been cleaned out or wiped, turned off and put away - with the exception of my phone which is an old Galaxy S10e... which I also stripped down.

Along with the usual tools, all that remains is: talk, text, 2 bank apps, a radio.net app, and web-based OTP.

I left the DDG browser on it for emergencies only; No more doom scolling or YouTube videos, never did do social media... I even got rid of my email account, yes!

Ahhhhhh, the peaceful life!
