Good morning Orange crew. I am going to finish up yardwork today, as here on the Cheddar curtain they are calling for a pretty damn hot week, most days heat indexes around 110 - 115.

Inor, wanna trade some dry 110 deg air for some 92 degree air with 75-80% humid? Bleh...

Good morning! Things are getting better. 83 degrees for a high today, still humid and mosquito-ey. But all sun. Still don't have any landline or DSL at the machine shop since Friday morning's storms came through. I did get shop power back on about 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Beer fridge needed defrosting anyways I guess. Haha!

I can use my desktop online with my cell phone's hotspot, so atleast I can communicate with the outside world.

Good morning you Homos. Sapiens that is. Gonna be a hot one today topping out at 95 degrees. Had a bit of a setback this week because SOMEONE forgot to order my meds. So I've been really tired and a little shaky on my feet. Got the meds last night so hopefully I'll be doing better soon. Hope you are all doing well and have a blessed day.

Texas summer has settled in. Mid to upper 90's and air you can drink. No rain to speak of lately and none on the way that I can see. June was hot but we had a bit of rain. July, August, September, and into October is going to be miserable. All we need is a Hurricane in the gulf. Welcome to Texas.

PO, how close are you guys to the Gulf of America?

And is that what generates most of your humidity? I assume it's not corn sweat?

We are approximately 80 miles from the Gulf and yes, that's the source of our humidity, tropical storms and the occasional hurricane. Yipeee!!!

Bleh... corn sweat is seasonal. I assume Gulf humidity is mostly year round... plus the hurricane threat.

Mostly year round although December, January, and February is not as bad. June 1 through November we are always on the watch for Hurricanes.

Good morning and happy Saturday. Had me a Mission Impossible adventure. Couldn't sleep so I took myself to breakfast while the rest of them slept. Supposed to be a high of 92 today so I figured I better get started early. New podcast and YouTube version should be posted by the time you read this and it's a good one. Have yourselves a blessed Saturday.

Late good morning back at you Sas. Yep, hot, no wind, and the damn Canadian wildfire haze is really bad today. And it stinks...

All I want to know is, why is Canada still there?

Yeah, I'm glad I'm at the Southern end of CA. Although we have plenty of fires here. And who needs a smoker when the fires can do it for you.
