    Happy Sunday you people!

Mrs Inor took me on a pic-a-nic this afternoon. We just went to the National Forest campground right by M.T. Acres. The campground is located in a canyon between the mountains just to the west of M.T. Acres. It is only about a 7-8 mile drive from home and the campground itself, is only about 1-2 miles from M.T. Acres as the crow flies. So far, we haven't gone back in there very often but I think that is going to change going forward.

I'm always amazed at how much the landscape changes in such a short distance. The land immediately around M.T. Acres is all high desert plateau. It is flat and covered with grass, various cactus and mesquite trees. In the mountains it is pretty dense desert oak, juniper and cypress forest . Although we didn't see any wildlife today, there is plenty of it in there. It is also about 10 degrees cooler in the mountains than it is at our home.

All-in-all, it was a great way to spend an afternoon!

What do you mean by "you people?"

That area sounds nice. I bet a few of my cousins live there.

Happy Monday!! Funny how I hated Mondays before I retired. Monday morning sales meetings, project meetings, departmental meetings, and if I was really lucky, a long ass meeting with the owner to discuss all the other meetings. Just shoot me now. But these days, every damn day is a good day!

Good morning. Sitting here with a cup of coffee. Reflecting and honoring the fallen men and women that have served our Country and paid the ultimate price. Today is a solemn day, a day of honor and reflection. To those men and women, a heartfelt thank you and God bless!

Again with me it's not morning but anyway...

This photo is in honor of my Grandmother (who talked about him all the time) and her brother (I guess that makes him my great Uncle?) who gave everything for this country.

3 grandkids, Son1 and DIL came by for lunch. Burgers and Hotdogs. Youngest grandson and I napped. It rained. Son1 helped me with checking out the attic, I just don't go up to the attic by myself much anymore and only have a couple of "totes" up there with junk in them. Need to bring them down one day and go thru them.

Other than that, the attic was clean, no roof issues, and we set off an "insect fogger" bomb just because we had a couple of them and we noticed a wasp nest.

Good Memorial Day with the family.

Good morning you legends! The insomnia is back and I haven't slept since last night so I may be a little goofier than normal. But that's okay, I'll figure it out. Hope you guys know I love y'all and wish you a very blessed day. Oh, and for you guys dealing with weird weather out there stay safe.

Do you guys have a gas firepit you can use under a cover so you can sit out and watch the rain while sipping a cocktail? Or is the storm a little more wild than that?

We have a fire pit we use in the the fall and winter. Really nice. But here in the spring and summer, it's heating up and hurricane season is upon us. My main goal now is make sure the gen sets run and I have plenty of fuel. The only fire I am starting is firing up the BBQ pit.

Good morning gents. Supposed to have rain overnight, we got nothing. Our weather reporters are about as good as our politicians.

Of to make breakfast, Make it a great day friends.

What, does no one say good morning anymore!?!

Okay, it's taco Tuesday and another day to do something good. Help a neighbor, donate to a charity, clean your guns.

Oh, and I subscribed to a thing called Angel Studios. It's like Prime or Netflix but has Christian based movies/comedians/documentaries. Really good and well worth the money. Good cartoons for the kids. Now I'm starting to feel like I told you guys about this already. Maybe I did. You're hearing it again.

Today's breakfast will be yogurt with blueberry granola and an English muffin. Yogurt, supposedly, helps fight El Cancer.

                            Have a blessed day.

Morning folks! The weather here has been crazy. Too much rain and cooler than normal temps. I’ve even had the furnace running a few mornings.
