    Earth Day 2026

Other than my man Inor, is anybody else burning an old tire or 3 to celebrate Earth Day 2026?

    Crap, I forgot.

I did poop in the woods, like most every day. Hopefully that helped...

There was a wildfire in the mountains behind us yesterday. So I am a little paranoid about doing anything involving open flames today.

The airplanes came in within a couple hours and dropped the purple dust on it and got it under control, but wildfires scare the shit out of me!

I did have some bees building a nest under the shipping container that I use as overflow for my wood shop. Normally I wouldn't care but that is also right where I park my tractor. So they had to go! I bought a package of those aerosol bug foggers for killing bugs in a house. They come in a package of 3 cans per package. The instructions claim one can will cover 1500 square feet. So I popped two of them under my 8X20 foot container. That seems to have done the trick but I do still have one left if I need it for any follow up.

Crap, don't blame you a bit about being scared of the wildfires.

I think I'll keep our tornadoes.

This is a vid of the one that came by my place last Friday afternoon. The house that got wacked was only about 2 miles from me. I did get the hail damage.

BTW, the down syndrome kid greta thunberg can get her climate change ass up here and pick up sheet metal and housing material out of the trees and fields. F'n idiots!!!

I spray Pyrethrin under all of my out buildings and that stops wasps, hornets, and other creepy crawlies from making nests. Stuff works wonders under the eves and porches around the house as well. I don't see nearly the volume of hornets and wasps I used to. Occasionally I'll see one bouncing around looking for a spot but I kill them right away. I hate those things.

I see you have a weather station. What kind and how do you like it?
