I did my neighbors neglected pasture with a SNapper zero turn- 52", 22 HP gas. Took down everything, including weeds/small trees 1" in diameter. Scared up about 2 dozen rabbits and a hundred or so lizards
Looking for a New Mower

Finally have a chance to write up something for you guys. The whole process has been a fiasco, lol. Purchased sight unseen from TSC via the internet. It was "internet only", which I later found out means they don't keep this mower at all, they just act as a middle-man for TORO sales. Mower was shipped to my local TSC store for pick-up by UPS. Showed up to pick up mower, and the seat of my brand new mower was ripped in shipping. Looks like someone stuck a forklift fork right into the seat. Nope. Not accepting delivery. Online TSC sales rep says, ok, we will get you a new mower shipped out. 2 weeks go by, and nothing. Online sales rep stops answering my calls. I go to my local TSC store to speak the manager. He says- "I am not responsible for online sales, BUT........ I want to make this right for you. Stop calling online sales rep, and justr start dealing with me. I will personally order a new seat for the mower, at my store's expense, and let you know when it arrives." 4 days later, I get a call from store manager. "Your new seat arrived, and we have already installed it on your mower. Ready for pick up." I get to store with trailer, and yes, mower is now in perfect condition. Manager is very kind, and apologetic, even though none of this was his fault. I say thank you, and leave with the mower.
Now, the fiasco of selling my old mower. I change the oil. I change the air filter. New blades put on. I test run the mower, and mow my back yard with it. Everything is perfect for a 20 year old mower. I put a sale flier at work for $1500. A guy at work is interested, and hands me cash. He comes to my house, picks up old mower, and takes it home. 10 minutes into mowing, it dies. He takes it to local repair shop, and finds out the electric clutch FELL OFF! Repair bill was $133. I agree to give him the $133 back (because its the right thing to do).
Finally, I get to mow with my new mower. It is a BEAST. I cut my large yard, and my mother's large yard, in under 2 hours. I even took it out into the pasture to see how it does with the tall stuff. Never even bogged down. It is a lot wider than my old mower, so it is a lot more stable on my ditch banks. Overall, I am very happy with the mower, even if the purchase process was a little rough. I was also very happy with my LOCAL TSC, and it's manager, since he went above and beyond to fix a problem that he didn't cause. I'm ready for the heavy mowing season of summer.
