    For beginning canners

    Below is a YouTube video about canning meat that's been cut into large cubes. The vid is geared towards people who have never canned before. I'm posting it because sometimes just watching someone else do it from start to finish really helps.

    The video above shows the hot pack method, Dwight uses the raw pack method, I've done both. I've watched her channel for many years; Pam is a retired college professor (chemistry) and sometimes gets too technical.... but it's always valid information, and usually includes the 'why' of things.

      The plant I worked at had a guy who canned meat, his kids loved it, I've never had any. Time to get with the program, needs no refridgeration, what's not to like.

        I have a couple dozen pints of chicken breast and pork roast that I home canned sitting on my shelves right now. It’s easy.
