    Drinking And Math Suck $$$

    Quit drinking beer 2 weeks ago . We were drinking 8-10 beers a day. Keystone is $ 7-$08 @ day. Ultra for her is $ 8 $- 10 @ day. So $15 - $18 @ day .

So on a 30 day month, that's $ 450 to $540 @ month down the drain. Besides the 3 Newaygo Sportsmans ( Club, Post ,Bar ) in the area

Beer is pricey these days. Liquor goes farther and is cheaper.

That is why I never considered the cost of drinking. It helps me when I have to suffer some fools...

We've traced our roots to Scotland, then thru the Emerald Isle, thus being a Scot's Irish and a family member of The Kenny Klan.

I guess I'm lucky, I only drink when I'm alone or with someone.

Ah, hell, it is is just money. You can't take it with you. Drinking softens the hard edges of life. I say keep drinking but get better drinks. The thought of Keystone makes my balls hurt.

I used to be a big drinker. Technically, an alcoholic. 8 or 10 years ago I quit cold turkey. I used that $ I was spending in the bar to buy guns and toys. I’m also thinking my health is much better now. I’m also very lucky as I’ve never got a DUI. However, I’m not a preacher. Drinking is a personal choice. I never advise anyone to stop. Your drinking habits are none of my business. But I really do have some crazy fond memories of shit that happened while I was drinking or drunk!!!

You might be doing it wrong?

PS Are we talking about the same thing?

I'm selling a lot of gear off this weekend at the Yard Sale . I had 4 MOLLE packs, one in each color, now I have 2. 20 or so fishing poles, 10 tackle boxes, cardboard boxes full of tackle. Putting a C-note away each week .
Oar as a Element of surprize, her Honda EX has AWD for the winter but no heat. So maybe those funds will fix the Surprise.

The last time I quit for a year or so and I headed East. I was handed a PBR at the Ducks farm by Hawg. Then I bought a gun on the way home.

                        At a Christmas party in '76 . . . I didn't get wasted . . . but if I'd stayed longer . . . . . .

                        Anyway . . . at the same place a year later . . . got one rum and coke . . . kept adding coke all night . . .

That was the last time I had a drink . . . and like was mentioned above . . . spending that cash on my gunsafe and it's contents . . .

Not meaning to tell anyone what to do . . . but I do truly get more satisfaction seeing a really good group down range . . . than downing alcohol . . .

                        But that's just me

                        May God bless

I don't know about all this talk about quitting drinking. I think we should all set back, have a few drinks, and think some more on it.

Now she's having a Yard Sale with Rudy Rau ? I can see the pole barn cement floor now. My XL/Regular Camo stuff is way too big. We've been doing some trading along the way

I just took down the signs as she forgot about the BDay party she's putting on @ Baptist Lake in a couple hours. We sold $500 of stuff
