    Taurus GX4 mini 9mm

Picked one up 2 years ago and added a green laser to it. Know there are Taurus haters out there in the world but its proven to be accurate and reliable. Have used it twice for annual qualification to keep my retired po po gun toting card up to date. Believe its more accurate than my old
Sig p226 .40 and much easier to lug around for everyday carry. There was a recall on the guns a few years ago but that has been resolved on the newer models.
Introducing our first micro-compact pistol, the GX4, a 9mm with class leading capacity taking concealed carry to new heights.

Back in the good old days they were generally considered a higher quality throw down than Llamas and RGs etc. Their quality control seems to have got better over the years with a glaring exception or two. Big recall a few years ago for going off unprovoked as previously mentioned. Guess the striker fired Glock system can be hard to clone. The gun has some great sights and a decent trigger. Very mild recoil at least with target loads. Havent tried any high stepper duty type rounds in it yet cause I hate to waste good ammo. My confidence levels are high it will worky muy stalweino to throw a little South of the Border Lingo in their in honor of Maja Rushie. Also havent used the laser yet but it lines up perfect with the sights at 25 yards.

I have one of the Taurus TX22 pistols as a cheap trainer. I quite like it.

I bought a Taurus Tracker .357 many years ago. 7 round cylinder, 6" barrel. Pretty gun too. This was one of the quality control issues we used to hear about. I never saw a revolver jam before. This one had a hitch in the rotation of the cylinder after using it a few times. A hitch that would actually keep the cylinder from rotating to the next round. I sent it back to the factory, and when it came back it was flawless. I kept it and have enjoyed it since. It's really a sweet piece, just left the factory limping. I hear their quality control has improved significantly.

Both of my wheel guns are Taurus. Bought new. A Judge in 45/.410 and a Raging Bull in 44mag. They both shoot fine, no issues.

Thanks for the input. One of my best old childhood chums has Da Judge and he really likes it.

Thanks Slippy. It was actually my wife's fault. She fell madly in love with my little .22 NAA mouse gun which I toted proudly as a backup for my Sig .40 for decades and just had to have it for herself. I told her I would have to go buy something to replace it and she said Ok...but it has to be cheap. So hello Mr. Taurus. I actually wanted a 9 mm anyway since my old agency devolved from .40s back to 9s and pass out free ammo for qualifying to old retirees who own one. Otherwise would have to furnish my own ammo. which aint nice. lol

I know my wife Denton is a big fan of Taurus. I've never shot one.

I have a stainless Judge in 45/410. Works great on blue grouse and rattlesnakes. No issues with my Taurus.

I bought my nephew a G4C, and a Ruger EC9. The Taurus works just fine, but you can readily tell...the Ruger is just a better gun.
I have a Taurus 627ti, four inch, seven shot 357. It is not a Tracker. I carried it for several years, shot it a bunch and had no problems. One cylinder of S&B had sparks, and debris, shooting up out of the ports, as well as causing cylinder drag. I trust that revolver. I also have a TX22 that has been good.
