    Metal Reinforced Holster Belt

Okay, for those of us who have carried for a long time, and carried in a belt holster of any style, the inevitable happens at some point: Your holster belt stretches at the edges where your holster is attached. If you're not required to use a specific belt style for your work, you've probably gone through a ton of belts. I've used Bull hide, Bison Hide, Horsehide, as well as plain leather, trying to find something that works, and being disappointed or resigned to the eventual failure, with even the best belts being replaced after a year or two.

I tried something a while ago, and have waited to see how it worked. I bought a belt with a metal insert in between two leather straps, and it has worked flawlessly. While it's a bit of pain to put on because the metal assumes the curvature it will have when cinched, The holster stays put, and you have none of the flex or edge stretching that normally occurs with a standard or heavy duty belt. I am quite happy with it and can recommend it with no reservation

I have been wearing Kore Essentials belts for the last 10 years or so and love them. It holds it's shape and you can adjust the tightness on the fly. I still have the first one I bought and it's still like almost new. Leather or tactical. Still, I am always looking for better. What's the brand name?

I'll second the KORE belts for carry.

I've also got a NEXBELT that I like as much as the KORE Belt
