    New EDC knife

Since my old EDC knife walked away to god knows where, I was forced to get a new one. Darn it! MG to the rescue, she bought it for my Birthday.

Benchmade. Very light with a good action. Perfect for every day carry. Came in at about 250 bucks I think, but worth it.

I like it. One push of the button and it's out. It has a lock on it but never use it. All the years I have carried an auto I have yet to have one open inside my pocket. I looked at full autos as well but couldn't find one I like. I look at knives like guns. Do I need another one? No. Do I want another one? Yes.

I've had a Benchmade Osborn for about 10 years. I love it! (Mine is not spring assisted.)

Congratulations! That is a hell of a knife!

This is the, THE, knife I will carry for the rest of my life. My last one grew legs.
However...I have three of them currently. I rarely ever lose a knife, so these three should be all I will need.
I had at one time carried a CRKT M14, but then was gifted a Kershaw 1940. While being bigger than the M14, the 1940 carries like a Much smaller knife.
Carson Flipper, assisted opening, reversable clip, serrated or plain.
          The Kershaw 1940.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Kershaw. I have one in my emergency truck bag that I carried for a couple years.

Spring assist Kershaw is what I have always carried. Always have, always will.

I want one like the one that Frank Castle used to stick Harry Heck with in the movie "The Punisher".

Had one like that I bought in Mexico as a kid. When I said kid I was probably about 20.
